An ultra high impact polypropylene block copolymer from SK Geo Centric's YUPLENE series. Alongside impact strength it stands out for its balance of stiffness, flow and heat resistance.
The ultra high impact, high flow block copolymer type in SK Geo Centric's YUPLENE series. Developed for thin wall and very high speed injection moulding applications.
A high impact polypropylene block copolymer developed by Hanwha TotalEnergies for injection applications. Its high isotactic PP base and optimised rubber phase deliver a balance of stiffness and toughness.
Hanwha TotalEnergies' super impact resistance injection grade block PP. With high flowability and processability it is developed for automotive composite base, household goods parts and industrial material applications.
A very high impact heterophasic copolymer produced with Borstar Nucleation Technology (BNT). It shows excellent impact strength even at low temperatures and is approved for food and child contact.
Known in the industry as "no break", these are ultra high toughness PP types that offer markedly higher impact strength than standard block copolymer polypropylene. By optimising the ratio and distribution of the rubber phase, the part is designed to deform rather than break under impact.
These grades are used particularly where breakage is unacceptable — crates, heavy duty pails, juvenile care products, appliance components and automotive parts. In applications operating at low temperature, cold impact strength becomes the decisive criterion.
Since toughness is gained at the expense of some stiffness, the right grade must be selected according to the impact-versus-stiffness balance of the application. The flow (MFI) choice relates directly to part wall thickness and mould filling distance.
