PC/ABS alloys bring together the impact strength and thermal performance of polycarbonate with the processability and cost advantage of ABS. The balance can be tuned to the application by changing the alloy ratio.
They are very common in automotive interior trim and electronic housings. They mould more easily than neat polycarbonate and offer markedly higher thermal and mechanical performance than neat ABS.
