About the Product
TPC-ET (thermoplastic copolyester elastomer) is a material class that combines the flexibility of rubber with the processability of a thermoplastic. As it requires no vulcanisation, it can be injection moulded in series production and recycled.
LG Chem's KEYFLEX BT family is used in bellows, hoses, seals, cable jackets, suspension boots and automotive parts operating under repeated flexing. The flexibility-strength balance can be tuned through different hardness levels.
The greatest strength of TPC-ET materials is retaining elastic properties across a wide temperature range together with high fatigue resistance. Hardness selection (Shore D) is determined by the flexing requirement of the application.
